Play what
doesn’t exist yet.
Type a sentence. GlitchRift designs the game, picks an engine, generates the art, rigs the characters, scores it, and hands it back playable, in a browser, on a phone, in seconds.

The sentence is not a prompt handed to a model and hoped over. It is read into a design document, and that document is built by engines that already work.
Four choices, and the shape of a game falls out of them. This is an illustration of the read, not the build itself, but the decisions are the ones GlitchRift actually makes.

Runners, tower defence, idle tycoons, card battlers, bullet hell. Each is a real engine that has already shipped, not a template with the serial numbers filed off. The sentence decides which one gets used, and how it is tuned.
The plan
The sentence is read into a design: loop, controls, win and lose conditions, difficulty curve, economy.
The engine
One of fifteen engines is chosen and configured, rather than a fresh pile of code that has never run.
The art
Characters, props and backdrops generated in the style the sentence implies, then cut out and packed.
The rig
3D characters rigged automatically; 2D characters driven by Spine so they actually move.
The sound
Music and effects chosen to the mood of the thing you described.
The build
Levels, a results screen, progression. It opens in a browser on a phone, with no download.

A command centre with seasons, quests, ranks, a shop and a creator hub. Games get published so other people can play them, and the people who make them earn from it.
You can look around without an account, and build three games before anyone asks you for anything.
